Escape St. Louis Apartments to Enjoy Summer Events

Put away your winter hats and scarfts and trade in your parka for shorts. It’s summer in St. Louis! If you’ve been cooped up in your St. Louis apartment all winter long, now is the time to get out and experience the warm side of the city. Here are four things you don’t want to miss this summer in St. Louis.

1. On June 15th, enjoy free admission to the Garden and Children’s Garden at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Come celebrate the 150th anniversary of the gardens on Founder’s Day.

2. Take me out to the ball game all through the summer at Busch Stadium to catch a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball game. Be sure to check out the schedule ahead of time for special events or theme nights.

3. How can you resist free? If you want to catch a concert on your way to your apartment on Tuesday evenings, stop in at Faust Park from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Cornet Chop Suey, Billy Peek, Triolgy and Yessir are just a few performances at the park this summer.

4. You may not have wanted to stroll through the cold at the Farmers Market in the winter, but now that’s it’s warm, you should head over to Carroll Street. The market is open from Wednesday to Saturday at specific times and offers locally grown and hand crafted products.
